From the pool or the table, it reads as a stunning glass ceiling. From the meter, it reads as a 16 kW-class system sized for a single Florida home.
1. POWER
A 16 kW canopy is a strong match for a typical Florida home — lights, air conditioning, the pool pump, and the day-to-day load. You choose the battery. Tesla Powerwall or another system your electrician wires in. Power Lanai makes the kilowatts. You decide how they are stored for evening and backup. Buy the battery from the manufacturer. We design the canopy and install it with our certified electricians.
2. SHADE
Noon becomes the hour you keep. The canopy takes the harsh overhead sun off the water and the deck. Patterned shade: cells catch most of the sky, and light slips through the gaps as a glow on the water. Potted plants like that filtered light. They stop baking in full sun. On our bi-facial canopy, about 95% of the overhead sun is filtered. When an afternoon shower moves through, lunch stays on the table.
3. BEAUTY
Look up from the water. Look up from the table. The cell grid and the sky coming through are the finish of the room. Guests remember the solar ceiling.
